A high-frequency high-voltage excitation power source is studied in this paper, the dielectric heat and current skin effect Joule heat produced under high-frequency electric field are used to melt ice. The PWM controllable rectifiers are applied in the former input based on Space vector (SVM) modulation technology to reduce harmonic content and adjust the power factor; the seried converters are adopted to realize the large power, and the Carrier phase shift(CPS-SPWM) modulation technology is used to generate the trigger signal for the control circuit, to reduce the switching operating frequency. The control strategy based on voltage and current double closed loop plus repeat PR control loop is adopted to obtain stable voltage output, the system dynamic responsiveness, and the anti-periodic interference performance are improved. Simulation experiments results show that the output frequency of the high-frequency excitation source can reach 1 kHz, better voltage output waveform, and the low harmonic content, which provide a reference for the practical development of high-frequency ice melting devices.
